A Scarce Late 19th Century Boer War Stretcher Bearer's Badge

A rare Boer War stretcher bearer's cloth badge, by men known as 'The Body Snatchers', worn by the men under the command of Mahatma Ghandi, of the Natal Volunteer Ambulance Corps. A most interesting corps that served alongside Mahatma Ghandi's Indian bearers. At the time it recruited from two curiously supposedly contrasting groups of citizens,... lawyers, and vagrants.
